For the past few weeks my focus has been on our first home purchase and getting settled into our new space. Everytime I am at the store I am picking up things for the house like rugs, towels and kitchen supplies. Thank goodness HomeGoods is open again!
My focus has been so home centric that I truly can’t remember the last time I bought clothes for myself, especially work clothes. With my office opening back up it was time for me to shift my focus back from outfiting my home to outfiting myself! I recently came across the most amazing company, Nive Girl, that provides a curated collection of work wear for the nine to five (Nive – get it!) gal. When they approached me about working together, I couldn’t say no!Their aesthetic and mission to clothe the working gal with quality yet cost effective pieces really spoke to me and is the heart of the Financial Fashion Planner.
Today I am sharing their Sienna Nude Skirt that I absolutely fell in love with. For those of you who know me and my personal style, I am all about pieces with feminine touches and love a good pleated skirt. To show off the versatility of this piece, I wanted to show you all how to style this item for work, a night out on the town and for play!
When I first laid eyes on this skirt, I couldn’t wait to style it with a blazer for the office. One of my favorite color combinations is tan, white and black so of course I was going to pair this with a black blazer.
Because the black blazer was so expected, I wanted to try styling it with a cream blazer to create a really chic monochromatic look. I’d also consider pairing this skirt with a light pink blazer (of course) and a pink pump to make it pop!
For a Night Out
This would be such a great skirt to wear out for date night or a girls night. I love the idea of pairing it with a simple white blouse to really let the skirt shine!
A simple way to style this skirt for running errands or taking the dog on a walk.
Which way to style this beautiful skirt is your favorite? I recently wore this for a night out in the city when we went back to return our old apartment key. Love the way the skirt moved with me as I walked our old neighborhood for the last time as a resident.

While this skirt was gifted, all opinions are my own.
